Day 1

Beginning on the island of Kos, we learned the basics of our new home, we found our way around the cabin, and most importantly learned how to use the toilet (it’s more difficult than it sounds).  We departed Kos and headed for Kalymnos stopping in a beautiful cove off the coast of Pserimos for lunch and a swim on our way.

 

Day 2

We departed Kalymnos and headed to Lipsi.  On the way we stopped off for a bit of cliff jumping on Makronisi and lunch in Turquoise Bay.

 

Day 3

We headed off to the island of Arki.  After the exhausting trip there, Joey fell asleep at dinner and had to re-boot.

Day 4

We sailed to Patmos where we rented scooters, hiked to a remote beach, and finally had some pizza for dinner!

 

Day 5

Before departing Patmos, we visited a monastery, ate breakfast overlooking the bay, and visited the cave of the apocolypse.  We then sailed on to the island of Marathi where we hiked up a hill to watch the sunset with our sister boat, the Angelina.

 

Day 6

Our last day at sea, we sailed to Leros and travled across the island for dinner where the owner of the restaurant and his daughter serenaded us after our meal.

I'll be honest, I'd move anywhere that allows yellow jeeps. I did not think. They really are the experts. They pretty much make pizza everywhere. View from the hotel restaurant. It was a great beach, as long as you crop the picture just right... This is a great summary of the history of Monrovia, found on a fast food tray in "Monroe's Chicken" Street view in Monrovia Apparently this place has the best Ribs in Liberia. Side note: While the Canary islands seem nice, apparently they dont allow yellow jeeps (see the pictures).  WHO DOESNT LIKE YELLOW JEEPS?

To briefly summarize:

- We joined a mob, got stormed the streets with torches

- We climbed a mountain at 2am in rainstorm

- Taylor got slapped

- I got whipped by a guy in a cape
- Took a ride in a Whisky Barrel (Don’t bother looking, for some reason I have no picture of this)
- Sampled tons of different Whisky
